True Biblical Doctrine (PART 1)

This article was originally called   “LIVING IN COMMUNITY; Learning to Love YAHWEH!”

We, as The Body of Messiah, do not have quality interaction because of disputes, divisions, and different doctrines.

Why do we have disputes and divisions?

Because we have different doctrines.

Paul told Timothy,

“Be diligent!

Present yourself approved of YAHWEH;

as a workers who not need be ashamed, rightly dividing The Word of Truth.”

2 Timothy 2:15

Paul was talking personally to Timothy, (and collectively to all future believers).

Paul was saying that you must do this on a personal level, so that you will not be able to blame

anyone else for yourself not being approved.

You personally must divide the Truth.

Verse 16 says,

“And shun profane and idle babbling, for they will increase to more immorality”

And later in 2 Timothy 3:16 Paul writes,

“ALL SCRIPTURE is given by inspiration of YAHWEH.

It is profitable for:

……………………..doctrine,

……………………….for correction, and

……………………….for instruction in righteousness,

so that the man of YAHWEH may be complete AND

thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

[ I want to make note that THE SCRIPTURES being talked about here is what is commonly called The Old Testament or the TaNaKh in Hebrew] The B’rit Chadashah or New Testament hadn’t been written yet.

So The Scripture should be profitable for doctrine,…..so that we can rightly divide the Word of Truth (the Scriptures) and…..so that we can become whole (or balanced) and…..thoroughly equipped for every good work.One “good work” would be to have a place to have quality time and profitable interaction with other believers.However, because of our doctrine we are presently unable to do so.So we have to change our doctrine or learn to rightly divide the Word of Truth (or both), because this is the primary reason for division and dispute.The next article will address some Hebrew words that are often translated doctrine but have very unique meanings.…..Shemua,…..Lekakh, and…..MussarI pray the the Heavenly Father YAHWEH be with you.Your brother in Messiah Yahshua,Kenath ben Nathan
